Workwear manufacturer in Tunisia, for European brands
Vestra Manufacturing is a garment factory located in Sidi Bou Ali, Sousse. We produce workwear and uniforms on a subcontracting basis, CMT and full package, for brands and distributors in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland.
The factory was established in 2022. The 2,400 m² site has 5 production lines and 1 sample line, around 300 machines and 120 production staff, with a capacity of up to 12,000 pieces per week depending on the item.
What we make
More than 50 styles produced since 2023 for construction, industry, healthcare, hospitality, food service and logistics.
- Coveralls : one piece work coveralls, multiple pockets, closures and reflective tape.
- Jackets and shirts : work jackets, padded jackets, work shirts.
- Trousers and bib overalls : work trousers, knee pad pockets, bib overalls.
- Vests and bodywarmers : padded vests and sleeveless bodywarmers.
- Healthcare : medical tunics and work smocks.
- Hospitality and food service : aprons, smocks and service wear.
- High visibility : garments with retroreflective tape, to the client's specification.
- Uniforms : garments for public tenders, made to the buyer's specification.
A factory organised by item type
The factory runs two types of lines. The large lines produce heavy items: coveralls, trousers, jackets and high visibility garments. The small lines produce light items and short runs: smocks, medical tunics and aprons.
The sample line is used for development and samples, without holding up ongoing production.

Embroidery is handled by partners we manage.
CMT or full package
With CMT (cut, make, trim), you supply fabrics and trims. We cut, sew, inspect and pack, working from your patterns and tech pack.
With full package, we source fabrics and trims, with development and prototypes on our dedicated sample line. This option is available for selected product categories.
Quality control at every stage
Inspection takes place at five points:
- on receipt of materials;
- on the production line;
- at the end of the line;
- at measurement control;
- at packing.
The AQL level is agreed with the client for each order.
How an order works
Each stage is visible on your online client portal, together with the order documents.
- Tech pack : you send the tech pack or a sample garment.
- Quotation : costing based on the operation breakdown, operation by operation.
- Prototype : sample made on the sample line, approved by you.
- Production : cutting, sewing and quality control.
- Shipping : FOB or delivery to your warehouse through our freight forwarder.
Why produce in Tunisia
Tunisia is a country with a long garment making tradition, close to Europe, and often chosen for nearshoring.
- Access to the EU market : under the Association Agreement between Tunisia and the European Union, garments made in Tunisia may enter the EU free of customs duties, subject to the rules of origin.
- Proximity : factory 25 minutes from Enfidha airport, with sea links to European Mediterranean ports.
- Languages : we work in French, English, Dutch and German, with a sales contact based in Nice.
Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum quantity per style?
We produce from 200 pieces per style. Smaller runs are considered case by case, depending on the number of colourways.
Do you work on a CMT or full package basis?
Both. With CMT, you supply the materials. With full package, we source them for you, for selected product categories.
What documents do you need for a quotation?
A tech pack or a physical sample, with quantities per size and per colourway. Send it to sales@vestratextile.com.
How do you control quality?
At five points: receipt of materials, production line, end of line, measurements and packing. The AQL level is agreed with you for each order.
Which standards and audits do you have?
SMETA 4 Pillar is in progress. ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 are in progress.
Do you make uniforms?
Yes. We have produced garments for public tenders, to the buyer's specification.
Can you deliver to our warehouse?
Yes. We work FOB or with delivery to your warehouse through our freight forwarder.
Can we track production?
Yes. Each order is tracked on our client portal: materials, cutting, sewing, inspection and shipping.
Can we visit the factory?
Yes, by appointment. The factory is in Sidi Bou Ali, 25 minutes from Enfidha airport.
Do you offer branding and embroidery?
Yes. Heat transfer is carried out at the factory, and embroidery is handled by partners we manage.
